The ARTSpace on Main is thrilled to offer our community an opportunity to use our facility in a unique way.

Our Community Studio Memberships provide resources for you to create your art in a collaborative studio setting. Our membership levels are designed to accommodate the needs of our community artists.

Basic Kiln

$50/MONTH

This membership is perfect for a solo artist looking to create beautiful work in ceramics and is in need of access to a kiln. Paired with our Family membership, you and your family will have an opportunity to explore new art mediums with discounts on all of our classes offered at ARTx3, as well as discounts on theater tickets and admission to special events throughout the year.

$75/MONTH

This membership is perfect for an artist looking to create beautiful work in ceramics and is in need of access to a potter’s wheel and kiln. Paired with our Family membership, you and your family will have the opportunity to explore new art mediums with discounts on all of our classes offered at ARTx3, as well as discounts on theater tickets and admission to special events throughout the year.

  • Use of slab roller

Master Studio (COMING SOON!)

$100/MONTH

This membership is perfect for the artist who does it all. With access to our studio, potter’s wheels, kiln, airbrush, and sand blaster, you’ll be feeling the creativity the moment you sign up. Paired with our Family membership, you and your family will have the opportunity to explore new art mediums with discounts on all of our classes offered at ARTx3, as well as discounts on theater tickets and admission to special events throughout the year.

School Kiln

$250/YEAR

K-12 art teachers can use this membership to add new teaching methods to their classrooms. The school will be billed at the beginning of the school year. The art teacher will also have the opportunity to explore new art mediums with discounts on all of our classes offered at ARTx3, as well as discounts on theater tickets and admission to special events throughout the year with a Family membership.

  • To finalize your membership, you must complete the ASC policy and safety session. Community Studio Members must complete a session or have been enrolled in one of our ceramic workshops. A signed liability form is also required.

    Members must be 18 years of age

    Memberships are auto-drafted each month (except the School Kiln level)

    Staff will also contact members upon completion of their artwork.

    Members must sign in and out of the ARTSpace when using the equipment.

    An ASOM employee will be present when members are using equipment to assist. 

    Members who use the potter’s wheels are responsible for providing their own clay and glazes. 

  • Our staff is available to assist with registration toward becoming an active Community Studio Member at the Arts & Science Center (701 S. Main St.) or by calling (870) 536-3375. All fees must be paid in advance to have full access to studio time.

  • These hours are subject to change due to scheduled events and workshops. All members will be notified at least a week before the event/workshop. All dates of events/workshops will be on the Community Kiln Google Calendar.

    Members are required to complete the Scheduling Form to submit their times for usage of all items in the Community Studio.

    Closed during Holidays and Inclement Weather (Members will be notified of changes due to weather)

  • Staff will only refire glazed pieces that have been underfired or if the glaze is chipped off in the loading of the kiln. Members are required to keep all areas clean and will be responsible for substantial equipment damage. ASC is not responsible for any personal items that are damaged or stolen.
