Concert Series Live@5 Goes Online With May 15 Tolbert Performance

The Arts & Science Center is taking its long-running live music series Live @ Five online with a performance by saxophonist Damen Tolbert. The concert will be livestreamed 5-6 p.m. Friday, May 15, on ASC’s Facebook page.

During the livestream, ASC will have a donation link for those wishing to contribute. Donations will go toward supporting ASC’s programming.

The Chicago-born musician is the director of sound recording technology and a music instructor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Tolbert’s discography includes “Into the 3rd Damention” and “Unintentional Interpretations.”

ASC hosts jazz, blues, and rock & roll musicians each month. The concerts are traditionally held on the first Friday of the month on ASC’s Catherine M. Bellamy Theatre. ASC is currently closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
