Photos: Local Organizations Bring Fun to Tinkerfest 2021

The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas hosted its annual Tinkerfest event on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021.

This year, ASC partnered with with several local organizations and businesses to provide fun powered by exploration, creativity, and discovery through tinkering.

The participating organizations and activities were:

  • ASC, with LED bike and swirl paint bike stations

  • ASC’s ARTSpace on Main, with an art-making station and demonstration by artist Greta Kris

  • Arkansas Archaeological Survey, with spear throwing and pottery

  • Delta Rivers Nature Center, with native Arkansas animals

  • The Generator, with origami and a paper airplane challenge

  • Kolorful Kreations, with Kreate-A-Bear plush animal creation station

  • Novel Ts and Tour DeBluff, with a bicycle shop station

  • Pine Bluff Jefferson County Library System, with a Lego station
